The Gas Metal Arc Welding Basic course GMAW (MIG) is recommended for the student interested in developing the skills required for employment in the trade. The course provides students with a basic understanding of the gas metal arc process and the key variables that affect the quality of welds and entry-level skills within gas metal arc welding.
(SMAW) STICK Welding
4 weeks day classes - 8 weeks evening classes $4,100
The Shielded Metal Arc Welding Basic course SMAW (STICK) is recommended for the student interested in developing the skills required for employment in the trade. The course provides students with a basic understanding of the shielded metal arc process and the key variables that affect the quality of welds and entry-level skills in shielded metal arc welding.
(GTAW) TIG Welding
4 weeks day classes - 8 weeks evening classes $4,100
Gas Tungsten Arc Welding Basic course GTAW (TIG) is recommended for the student interested in developing the skills required for employment in the trade. The course provides students with entry level-skills in gas tungsten arc welding beginning with carbon steel and ending with stainless steel.
(SMAW) 6G PIPE UPHILL Welding
5 weeks day classes - 10 weeks evening classes $5,500
The 6G PIPE UPHILL welding program will provide a thorough understanding of pipe welding nomenclature, weld quality, and procedures towards ASME Section IX code. The goal is to develop skills necessary to make quality welds on open root mild steel pipe in 5G, 2G, and 6G positions. The program is recommended to welders able to pass 3/8” plate open root guided bend test.
(GTAW) TIG STAINLESS PIPE Welding
5 weeks day classes - 10 weeks evening classes $5,500
The TIG STAINLESS PIPE course will provide a through understanding of the gas tungsten arc process and set up procedures for schedule 80 mild steel pipe on 2” and 4”.
Class Schedules
Day Training Begins January 6th
Classes meet 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Monday through Thursday (4 days per week)
Evening Training Begins January 7th
Classes meet 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm
Tuesdays and Thursdays (2 evenings per week)
Custom scheduling - available for employer certification testings and current welders.
